AtCorr Packaging was established in 2010 as a family-operated business. Through the determination of Mike Jones and Kenny Whitworth, the company decided to make investments and expand. Jones and Whitworth then sold the company to current owners Chris Hills, Chris Roderick, Jarrod Beliles, and Paul Virg with the knowledge that they could expand the business further.
With operations in six states in the Midwest and Midsouth, this acquisition reinforces Welch’s commitment to serve new customers and provide a great associate experience. “We look forward to partnering with these strong industry veterans to serve and expand AtCorr’s customer base, as well as expand our cause with AtCorr’s associates” stated Scott Welch, President and CEO of Welch Packaging.
The company has established a reputation for providing quality products and services to customers in Kentucky and its adjoining states. Virg, Beliles, and Hills will continue to lead AtCorr, with Beliles operating as General Manager. The fourth owner, Chris Roderick, will retire from the business. “Welch’s existing network of sheet plants, complimented by their sheet feeders, will open opportunities we never had.” commented the owners of AtCorr.
